Mr. Chirag Patel is a Managing Director at EMI Capital and a Venture Partner at Trident Capital. Prior to joining EMI, Chirag was the President and CEO of MeMedia Inc,…. an advertising technology solutions provider and Ad Network. Prior to MeMedia, Chirag was the President and CEO of People Business Network (now Taleo NASDAQ:TLEO), an on-demand human capital software company.

Before joining PBN, Chirag was President and CEO of Diligent Solutions, a privately held company focused on delivering on-demand governance and performance management solutions for the business process outsourcing market. Prior to Diligent, Chirag launched 12 Entrepreneuring, a Venture Capital firm focused on the Web Services Market. At 12, Chirag ran the New York office and was responsible for East Coast deals and operations.

Prior to 12 Entrepreneuring, Chirag was a founding member of Viant Corporation (NASDAQ: VIAN) and played a role on the leadership team. At Viant, Chirag ran the Boston and Chicago business units, supported the company’s IPO process, and helped drive business strategy and corporate M&A activities.

Prior to Chirag’s entrepreneurial experiences, he held several senior leadership positions with larger Fortune 500 firms including: Oracle Corporation where he started and ran the Capital Markets consulting business in New York; Merrill Lynch Debt Capital Markets where he was Vice President responsible for managing a large technology and operations business unit delivering global risk and trading solutions; and at IBM Corporation working as part of the Product and R&D team responsible for the IBM OS2 and Office Vision product lines.
