Mr. John Muldoon is the Chief Financial Officer of EMI Capital responsible for fund operations, finance, reporting and providing active support to portfolio companies. John is also a part of the Investment Committee. For 20 years, John was a financial executive/CFO for a number of prominent wall street firms such as Salomon Brothers, Caxton Corp., Perry Corp. and IntraLinks. As a CFO, he was responsible for all aspects of financial controllership, treasury function, legal and regulatory compliance, investor relations and operational administration.

In 2005, John left a position as co-founder, principal, and managing member of Keal Capital LLC (Hedge Fund Manager). At Keal, he initiated and closed all rounds of financing, set up and managed all aspects of the firm’s hedge fund operations including investor relations and SEC registration as Investment Advisor.

Prior to working at Keal, John served as a principal and CFO of SV Group LLC (Private Equity and Specialty Finance Firm) until April 2003.

In 1996, John was a co-founder, CFO and director of IntraLinks. As CFO of IntraLinks he closed on $80+ mm of equity financing, completed three acquisitions, managed 185 employees, opened and managed 5 offices (including London) and completed an SEC S1 Registration for IPO. In September 2000, John hired his successor and resigned from the firm.

John has co-founded 5 companies in the last 10 years. John has an MBA from Pace University and is a CPA and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
